Contemporary re-interpretations of ancient narratives are illustrated by celebrated Australian Aboriginal Artists and presented online in an interactive web site.The Songlines Project aims to share traditional narratives and stories, with the explicit approval of indigenous cultures, in an effort to preserve, study, and learn from the past.

The Songlines Project follows scientists in archaeology, anthropology, specialists in communication technologies and cartography, Aboriginal elders, celebrated artists and storytellers to share and explore aspects of the world’s oldest living culture.
